Analysis Of I Got You - 961 Words

In I Got You, Jamie Lake describes her characters in ways that make the above statement real. Jake’s appearance goes against what gay men are suppose to look like specifically, some could even say that Jake was underdeveloped. For example, in the article, A Gay man and a Straight Woman Talk body Image, Stern, the gay man, specifically says that what gay men are looking for is â€Å"Not bony and gangly!† In the book this is exactly how Jake is described. In today’s society you are suppose to take a sort of pride in how you looked and Jake wasn’t described as the best candidate to showcase that. We have been programmed to think about looks f irst without even getting to know a person.Show MoreRelatedSystem Analysis And Design Analysis1564 Words   |  7 Pages What is System analysis and design?
